08:21 AM ET 11.23 | Pressure to win games comes with all NCAA jobs, though there is a difference in the expectations by which Rich Rodriguez will be greeted in Arizona. One of the biggest reasons for his rough tenure at Michigan was the fact that Rodriguez didn't have the right quarterback to run his offense until Denard Robinson broke out with his fantastic 2010 season. ... Although Arizona will lose star Nick Foles after this season, Rodriguez will inherit dual-threat quarterback Matt Scott, who has the skills to run the spread offense Rodriguez will employ in Tucson. It's the same scheme that was successful during his time running Clemson's offense, as West Virginia's head coach and in his final season with Michigan.

You are biased..OBC was a pretty good coach.. Just harder to win at SCe than UF

.... I loved him at FL ... but "harder to win at SC" is a reflection of his coaching ability is it not?

He just could not get anything going at S Carolina.

Really? Giving SC their first SEC E crown was no small feat. They are USCe for crying out loud.

TSUN did improve in the W-L every year he was there. This year they would probably be 8-4 or so with him. Hoke is better at a school in the B1G but RR ain't bad. If he can get the right personnel the U of A can be a mini-Oregon.

Hiring of Rich Rod will have disastrous or a mid-level delusional average like results for the House Cats.

He should do very well there....2nd level visibiity nationally, expectations not that high and being to close to Cali he should be able to pull in alot of talented HS players from the Golden State.

Lastly, hire a solid D coordinator and stay as far away as possible from the defensive side of the ball.
