08:09 AM ET 11.24 | The big speech from "Big Ticket" wasn't much in the way of fire and brimstone. [At halftime Sunday, Kevin Williams] had had enough. He had to say his piece, requesting the attention of a frazzled locker room. This wasn't William Wallace on horseback. Nothing close to Pacino in "Any Given Sunday" either. A rousing pep talk? Williams wasn't interested in that. ... The theme of Williams' speech? "You either go out and do your job or just stay in the locker room and don't even bother to fool with this," Williams said. ... "It's cool because when Kevin speaks, you listen," linebacker Erin Henderson said. "When he says something, it's like, 'I better take that to heart. Ticket decided to say something.'"

Well, here's the thing: even if Minnesota player go out there and do their jobs, they will still probably lose.

What we really want to know is, "How's Adrian Peterson?" The supporting cast in the Minnesota Community Theater Company isn't going far without the star.

Y'know, this is the only country where poverty and obesity seem to go hand in hand. It's poor decision-making that leads to both.
