Suh threatening his own marketability

08:02 AM ET 11.25 | Ndamukong Suh offered a lengthy explanation after he was tossed Thursday against the Packers for what appeared to many to be his pushing one opponent and stoping on another -- which he said was a matter of being pulled down then "getting myself unbalanced." It's an amazingly flimsy, and perhaps delusional, effort to explain what was obvious to anyone with eyes. Apart from the ultimate penalty that will be imposed on Suh by the league office ... Suh needs to be concerned about the impact of his behavior and his lame explanation of it on his marketability. From Subway to Chrysler to any other company that has chosen to give Suh a lot of money to endorse its products, that money could be drying up, quickly.

I don't know about all that. 15 years ago his play would be totally tolerated. And I can guarantee he wasn't coached his whole life on this new, wussy-football he's being forced to play now.

It's not his style of play or his drive I'm talking about. It's his denial that he stomped that guy. I think he actually believes he just lost his balance. He should have just fessed up and said he plays with emotion.

Wrong! Even in the days of the Steel Curtain or Doomsday Defense et al, if they stomped a player on the ground they would be gone! No room for anything like that.

Suh ain't right. Even his explantion was total BS. The league should make an example outta him and hit him with a big fine and a multiple game suspension.

Suh isn't doing anything to discourage the folks who think he's a dirty player. I'm sure the Commish will mention this to him (among other things) next week.
