09:11 AM ET 11.26 | Rookie quarterback Ryan Mallett has been inactive for each of the Patriots' 10 games, but coach Bill Belichick reported yesterday that the third-round pick from Arkansas is making progress. He is "absolutely" still doing extra work after practice, Belichick said. During training camp, Mallett often spent time working on his footwork, either tethered to bungee cords or using a rope ladder, following instruction from strength and conditioning coach Harold Nash. But he hasn't been in any game situations since camp, and that's where a quarterback can really develop.

Those Pats are Krafty.

He has a number of years to make progress, Brady isn't going anywhere as long as he is healthy.

Future starting qb for the Pats. In the meantime he gets to learn from one of the best ever. Something the Colts were too stupid to do.

It sounds like a game of Clue......"bungee cords or using a rope ladder."....Or some seriously deviant bedroom olympics.

Oh ya this is the guy who quit on Michigan because he feared his playing time may be diminished (all about me me me)by the new coach. Hope he sits a long time on that bench. and Brady is so young yet...................

Brady, himself, is people's evidence #1 that Michigan has done a bad job of evaluating the QBs on their roster.

Rope ladders are dangerous in the bedroom, I don't recommend them.
