11:23 AM ET 11.27 | Luke Donald yesterday allayed suspicions he would put his clubs away for the rest of the year when committing himself to play at Sun City next week. The world No 1 has not played for five weeks and in this time has experienced the death of his father and birth of his second daughter. With the European Order of Merit all but secured, some believed Donald would be tempted to call an end to his season. But South African officials confirmed the Englishman has given assurances he will appear at the Nedbank Golf Challenge. Lee Westwood, the world No 3, is in the field as is the No 4, Martin Kaymer.

Hey! Where will all the spammers go to post their crap if they remove this section? They already post enough of it in the hockey section, thank you very much.

Have you lost your mind?
Any journalism school dropout can cover a golf tournament.
We like our coverage from "golfbytourmiss" and her ilk.

I'm actually kinda surprised that this site didn't explode with "Tiger is back" stories after the President's Cup. Even though he just happened to be lucky enough to have the "clinching" win, it was an entire team win, especially since drick didn't bother to show up until Sunday. Charley Reimer must have had a serious "O" face going while watching drick play....

Actually Helen, he's right. This site is abysmal. But, what else would I do if I didn't have my homies, like you, to coorespond with?
You would think that golf writers would try to look at the bigger picture. Jesus what a crowd of pathetic writers. Did I say writers? I meant scribblers. And, a sorry lot at that.
Woods did okay at the P cup and, now the media thinks he's back. What a soap. I'd rather watch the Christmas Story for the 58th time. Other than Dan Jenkins, there are no other golf writers worth a hoot. America has lost its interest in showboat. It's time the media did to.
