10:49 AM ET 11.27 | The seemingly forgotten Bill Watters was way ahead of the curve on the talk of an NHL building being constructed in Markham. He was telling this story about a year ago and nobody was paying much attention. And while it's still from the museum of the hard to believe, the fact that Rudy Bratty is the money behind this possibility lends it some credibility. Eventually, the NHL has to find a home for the Phoenix Coyotes and who knows what the long-term prognosis is for the Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets and always, the New York Islanders

And on a related note, it was most refreshing to watch a HNIC broadcast that didn't involve To***to. Sorry about the outcome W2 but it was a good game. I hope Hall's shoulder is okay.

The building in Markham is intended for concerts and other events, not an NHL team. Markham is way too small, there will be teams in Quebec City, Mississauga, and Hamilton before there's a team in Markham.

Surely Milwaukee should get one of those teams!

You get to watch college hockey which is probably better because they don't have to worry about cap issues.

That doesn't help either

Put a team in Cleveland or Cincinnati. Pittsburgh and Philly would be natural rivals.
