06:23 AM ET 11.28 | Even someone who considers himself a fan of DeSean Jackson's overall game, and his ability to alter defenses and seize moments, cannot ignore the evidence that he is shying away from contact, more and more. It was clear on the first touchdown that he dropped, how he visibly flinched when he sensed Patriots linebacker Tracy White bearing down on him. It is a continuing issue. Asked if he thinks about his health on the field, Jackson said, "Always. You've got to keep your head on a swivel."

Primadonna + WR = Soft.

That equation could describe the entire team. Just change the position and you have the Iggles in a nutshell.

A total blowout yesterday. It wasn't nearly as close as the score might indicate yesterday. What a bad year for Philly sports.

4 aces turns into 4 **** in the playoffs. 76ers aren't even relevant. Dream Team turns into nightmare and the Flyers were blown out of the playoffs by Boston last year in 4 straight to the point where they blew up the whole team.

...and this is how's he's playing for an enhanced contract??? He's going to get Reid fired... oh oh... too late for that...

Head on a swivel? More like arms that shrivel.

Someone felt the pitter patter of big footsteps. Guess he can only showboat and run his mouth to asst coaches and other various sideline personnel. At least the Iggles only have one 100 million dollar contract to swallow. 300 million dollars in Db's that can't cover squat. Even Jack Del Rio is suprised Andy Reid still has a job.

DeSean = DeShat.

November 28, 2011  07:52 AM ET

DeSean shying from contact, Eagles shying from contract.

November 28, 2011  07:56 AM ET

I guess these guys didn't watch the game last night. It was a fight the entire night and Jackson was in it.

What were you smoking when you watched the game... it was a fight in the 1st quarter and then the PATS score on something like the first 5 of 6 possessions... and it was a blowout by half-time... the game wasn't even as close as the score indicates as the Iggles got a late TD when the Pats had already taken the foot of the gas... CBS switched national coverage to Bolts-Broncs game halfway thru 4th quarter... and BTW - DeShean sucks!!!

Can we say COWARD with a Capital "C". Likes to talk the talk but, when it comes down to it he's just a COWARD plain and simple.

If by "fight" you mean they didn't at least stop trying, yeah. But I was wondering whether someone told the Eagles D that they were in a night game, because they didn't show up for the one at 4 o'clock. What happened to that Dream Team pass defense? There was a decent pass rush in the first quarter, but once The Hoodie figured out what they were doing and changed his blocking schemes, that secondary was easy pickings for Brady.

Maybe a fight to stay interested, but that's about it. Pats could have scored 50 if they really wanted to.

Oh, the Philly fans will whine that a DB was hurt. Nevermind that Julien Edelman, a wide receiver, had more impact on defense than any of the players playing for Philly.

Damn, Edelman lit up Vince Young.
