Maryland is getting EXACTLY what it deserves. Fire the 9-3 ACC coach of the year and you have a$sloads of bad karma coming your way. The hideous uniforms simply make watching this program suck that much more fun.

Isnt this year Edsall's first year?

Money is tight everywhere, maybe they could get one of the dads to coach on a volunteer basis, and the moms could do a big bake sale....

The newspaper sports reporter must really know his stuff, and enjoys pandering to the fans who are still upset about the last coach's firing.
Time to move on fans, what you have is what you need to work with and firing him won't solve anything, but will drive the program deeper in the hole.

You got them all wrong... IT IS THE UGLIEST UNIFORM they ever wear. It drove fans and boosters away. ARMOR, get it fixed! I can't even watch another minute of Terps' games.

The coach in waiting takes Vandy to a bowl game, and you could have had him running the show in MD. This decision is definitely biting MD in the butt. I wonder where Franklin will be in 3 years after his .500 or near .500 reign ends at Vandy and he's ready to move on?

The "Athletic Department" at Maryland is more poorly run than the federal government and that's hard to do even if you're trying. Started in 1986 when the idiots in power at that time fired Lefty Driesell and hired a high school basketball coach. Fridgen had one more year to go on his contract and these half-wits fired him to get a new genius there. They deserve the colossal failure they've created.
