McFadden at practice, Campbell throwing

08:01 AM ET 11.29 | Even if you had seen Darren McFadden or Jason Campbell on Monday morning, there wouldn't be much to watch. [McFadden] was just walking before the media headed to the locker room for interviews. If McFadden did more, he waited until the media could not see him. But McFadden being on the field for even a light workout is a positive considering he hasn't practiced since spraining his foot Oct. 23. "I think that was huge," said Raiders coach Hue Jackson. "I think that's a step in the right direction." The chances McFadden plays this weekend at Miami don't appear good. ... Jackson also said quarterback Jason Campbell (broken collarbone) had begun to toss a football but not very far yet.

Is the starting job still Campbell's?

Why would they waste two first round picks on a backup QB?

The Raiders seem to be doing just fine without those two for now. No need to rush McFadden back. As for Campbell, He's one again a journeyman after this season.

Great news, so campbell is NOW trade bait, right?

True, but still better than anything the Skins have.

Nope.

It's Palmer's team now. But I have a hunch Jason will be just fine and be supportive.

Kid's got poise and class.

Definitely no need to rush them back, but getting McFadden back for a playoff push would be a huge upside for them. Campbell isn't coming back this year....if he did, it would be as the back up and then after being out so long with no practice, you probably don't want to have to depend on him with your playoff life on the line.....and by the way- how bout' them GIANTS!?!

McFadden will be back for game 14... the start of FF playoffs and just in time to carry my team to VICTORY!

The Texans need a QB.

The Raiders already gave away the ranch for Palmer.

Jason needs to go to a team like the Ravens or Texans where they need no more than average skills at the QB position. He'd be an upgrade over either Flacco or Schaub. Both those teams would automagically move solidly to the first tier with that addition.

He is smart but only has an average throwing arm. Schaub and Flacco can make all the throws.

That's not saying too much.

They are definitely not going back to Campbell... Like you said they spent 2 first rounders on Palmer, he is going to be their starter going forward for the long term I would say.
