Heat turned up on Giants' Fewell

08:03 AM ET 11.29 | Other than a win over the Patriots in Week 9, this has been a November to forget for the Giants, who will open December against the undefeated Packers. Since their five-sack performance in a win over the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 30, they've had just five sacks and 14 quarterback hits in the last four games. Perry Fewell, the Giants' defensive coordinator, was asked last week where his pass rush has gone, and he said, "I can't put my finger on" the answer. He better do it soon, though, because if Brees can slice through his defense like he did on Monday night, what is Aaron Rodgers going do when the undefeated Green Bay Packers come to the Meadowlands on Sunday afternoon?

Looks like it's gonna come down to the Pack and the Saints in the NFC this year.

Giants just looked pitiful last night! It is seems crazy when you know going into the playoffs your going to have to score 50 to win.....but watching the saints and packers, seems that way. I do have to say this- last nights game and Brees' best games are in a DOME! They may have a couple good backs, but they don't have a ground and pound. I have to wonder when the playoffs come if they have to head somewhere cold, and wet or snowy how much that might change their offense in a negative manner.

Del Rio, Reid, and Coughlin.....of the three Reid probably has the most "good will" stored up, but I have a feeling (been to Philly games a couple of times) those fans might tear the roof off the Linc if he shows up next year!

Yeah forgot about him....and lets be realistic- the Shanahan experiment may not have much more than another season left either if he keeps them in last place in the NFC East.....I mean, that is no change from any other year right ?

Shanny gets another year or two. He hasn't run out of other people, events, etc. to blame yet.

Indigestion? First it was Rex Ryan over Tebowmania and now it's you? You guys should talk about this together with your doctors.

Fewell has been a disappointment. He does not seem to make any adjustments in the defense during the games. He's not a good strategist and not very creative about using the talent that he has. Would not be surprised to see him replaced after the season.

Reid is staying don't know why, but he is. As for Del Rio, he should have been gone last year.

That would be a great game. Anyone looking for a team that can keep up with the Pack in the offense department should look no further than the Saints. The Pack might want to start mending the holes in that pass defense.

I agree... Shanny gets one more year to straighten out that mess of an offense. New starting QB, new OC... if he can't handle that and show some forward progress, he'll be done.
