08:04 AM ET 11.30 | The backdrop to Ndamukong Suh's appealing of the suspension that will cost a reported $165,000 in salary is, again, his on-the-field personality. [Suh's] actions last week weren't the first such incidents of on-field violence in which the defensive star has been involved. When Suh pushed Evan Dietrich-Smith's head to the ground three times and stomped on the guard's right arm, it reminded Beaverton (Ore.) High coach Bob Boyer of 2004. That's the year Suh, playing for Portland's Grant High, punched one of Boyer's offensive linemen in a playoff game. It was Suh's final high school game. "Sometimes your emotions can get the best of you, and you have to control them," Boyer said.

Is anyone surprised?

You have to control your emotions? I think I might just cry.

He's a mo mo monster!!!

I know a number of my coaches from Kids Inc through High School that would have fixed that boy, and what they left my Dad would have reinforced up side my head. It took a lot of people not doing their job to get Suh where he is today.

This dude is a nut case. Typical in the world today that a professional athlete DOESN'T accept their punishment like a true professional and admit when they were at fault.

now that made me laugh ...

It's a shame. It seems apparent that he could be a truly great, Hall of Fame calibre, player. Apparently he can't control himself and he'll continue to hurt both himself and his team. Football is a team sport. He doesn't get that I guess.

November 30, 2011  09:05 AM ET

A motion is hereby made before the committee. Due to the really funky nature of his given moniker and his ongoing lack of respect for the sport he shall be referred to in all future T & R correspondence as "Donkey-Kong Sue", or for short, Donkey.

Do I hear a second?

Great player, needs to work on his Impulse control, all his skeletons will be drawn from the closet, back to his first Pee-Wee league game. shame the dumass didn't see it coming. this will cost him big $$ in endorsements

And he's appealing the decision so he doesn't miss more than one game...
