08:11 AM ET 11.30 | Bring it, critics. The chip on Carlos Boozer's shoulder has not. And that should be considered a good thing for the Bulls. Boozer, maligned throughout the Bulls' run to last season's Eastern Conference finals as he battled a sore right big toe, has heard the criticism. And in a phone conversation from his offseason home in Miami on Tuesday morning, the former All-Star forward basically said bring it on. "It motivates me," Boozer said. ... "I don't look at criticism as a down thing or negative thing; I look at it as a challenge," Boozer said. "That's what athletes do: We challenge ourselves. I look forward to quieting the haters and helping my team win. That's the most important thing."

Boozer is over rated. Chicago needs to trade him for Bosh!

QUOTE(#2):

Jay/Punk is not going to like this.

This Boozer guy is more motivated by cars and chains than winning. It's always been all about the money... he's a loser and so will the Bulls until they get rid of him. He deserves to be an amnesty clause candidate... or trade him straight up for David Lee. David Lee is a better offensively and rebounds better than Boozer and they both don't play defense so it's all good.

So Carlos if you want to stop the haters here is what you do. Start playing defence. Then your haters will stop.

I don't get why the Bulls won't cut their losses.

the regular season #s aren't so bad.....also don't forget Rose scores ALOT more than Dwil

This.
The truth of the matter is, we'll never see Boozer's "Utah #'s" in Chicago because he plays with a "shoot first" PG....it's all "pick" and no "roll" with D.Rose.
It's not like Booz was ever known as a defender, he was always about scoring and boarding.

he averaged 17 & almost 10 last yearI mean he was EXACTLY on his career #'s

Agreed.
Career #'s can be misleading, though. Especially considering he avg. 10 ppg in his rookie yr.
I'm just stating that in Utah, 20 & 10 was averaged frequently for him.

I disagree, New Jersey offered Boozer 11 million more then Chicago did last year. And the Bulls had the best record in basketball last season that hardly makes them losers... really your whole statement is incorrect. But I expect nothing less.
