Is Josh Cribbs in the doghouse?

08:08 AM ET 12.01 | Josh Cribbs sounded as if he had more to say before thinking better of it. Wednesday, he was asked if he cared to elaborate beyond Sunday's statement that "I'm trying to take advantage of the opportunities, the little ones that I get." Specifically, he was asked if he's happy with the way he's being used. "Uh ... I just won't answer that," he said. Cribbs said he doesn't want to say anything that could be construed as selfish, "because all I care about winning." Is it possible he's in the team's doghouse for speaking out a few times this season? "I would hope not," said Cribbs, who caught flak before the Rams game for hinting the Browns might use the Wildcat. "Because every time I step on the field I'm giving it all I've got."

Once you've made that crack about the little opportunities you get, you might as well go ahead and vent. Quit pussyfooting: speak your mind or shut your piehole.

He cares about winning? What's he doing in Cleveland?

Josh has endured just as much frustration as the rest of the city of Cleveland and he's fed up!
He has seen draft after draft where the Browns pass up on playmakers to help him out and he knows that the team that takes the field this Sunday has little to no chance of beating the Ravens.
BTW, next year will be the third year of Holmgren's 3 year plan. So does this mean they are going to be a SB contender next year??

Cleveland is taking over for the Bengals as the worst NFL franchise. How does anyone think that Colt McCoy is anything more than a solid back up QB?

Don't be hasty. There's a lot of competition for that label. The 'Phins could lay claim to the title, as well as the Jags and the Manningless Colts.

You really can't judge Colt's performance due to his lack of talent around him. He is missing the right side of his O line, a solid RB and has no WR's at all!
If you look at the numbers from the Bengals game you don't get the whole picture. Little dropped at least 3-4 passes that I counted in that game alone and he still managed to play well.
He might be just a backup but I would really like to see a deep threat receiver, solid O line and strong RB before I make judgement. If the Browns don't focus on a WR and RB in the first round of this draft I think they will win just as many games next year as they have this year.

At least he starting to think before he speaks, more players should do that.

Mr Cribbs ought to leave Cleveland and come to the Bengals and join the new, and up and coming AFC North Powerhouse if he wants to be a winner

I wouldn't call the Bengals the up and coming powerhouse, they have beat 1.5 teams with a record over .500 this year. (note the .5, that win was the Bills and they only count for half)
The Bengals are definitely competitive but they are lacking a few playmakers on either side of the ball to be considered a powerhouse. Don't think I am hating on the Bengals either, I root for them when they are playing any team other than Cleveland but I really want to see what they can do the rest of the season and next year to make judgement.

Thats a fair accessment, they why I say an up and coming. With 2 first round picks in the next draft and 5 in the first 3 rounds they should be able to get some good talent to fill in some holes, and the big plus they are one of the youngest teams in the NFL, and there loss to Baltimore is a game they should have won but we all no how the "ifs and wrong calls" go in any game, you can't use them for excuses.

It was pretty stupid to reveal a strategic decision early. Especially considering he got 6 yards out of his chances and they lost by one point.
