08:08 AM ET 12.02 | To the extent the Warriors believe they are at a crossroads, Dec. 9 and beyond could get very interesting at Golden State. The Warriors probably can make a big one-player splash if they open up the vault and if they can woo the right free agent. (Focus: free-agent center Tyson Chandler, an almost perfect match for the current GSW needs, but he will not come cheaply. ... They can dramatically re-make the roster if they're willing to risk acquiring a pending free agent AND add a ton of money AND trade away several popular players. (Focus: Examining the possibility of trading for disgruntled New Orleans superstar Chris Paul and maybe see if he'd re-sign with the Warriors if Chandler is on board, and maybe another star.)

Unless you get rid of either montae or curry, you won't be getting CP3 anytime soon....

Chris Paul wants to go to New York to load a team to compete with other stacked teams. Warriors might have to give up Monta or Curry to get him but I don't see him signing long term.

QUOTE(#16):

They are going to win 45+ and if they get CP3 it will be 50+You are underestimating how many crappy teams there are. Especially after stars leave. NO will now be just another win on everyone's schedule with CP3 and West leaving.

I feel bad for New Orleans. What's the point of signing West when CP3 is leaving. Hornets better be smart and let him walk.... sorta reminds me of how Gilbert gave Varejao 50 mil thinking it will cause Lebron to stay but little did he know....
