08:24 AM ET 12.02 | Chris Pronger can't seem to catch a break lately. [Pronger], who underwent surgery on his left knee on Tuesday, said he is still battling a mysterious virus. In a conference call with reporters Thursday, Pronger said he was not over the virus and added, "I don't know what's going on." The Flyers had said that his virus symptoms were almost gone and that if he didn't have the knee problem, they were hopeful he would have been able to play Friday. Pronger, 37, said he has been experiencing headaches and nausea like never before. He revealed he passed a concussion test. "It's been a bit of a mystery with what exactly is going on," he said. "I did some blood work, and we're trying to get to the bottom of what's going on."

Dammit, hope I don't have to ever get a test for insurance. Had a lovely bout yesterday, 8 years after my major concussion.

Post concussion syndrome is what is keeping Marc Savard from playing. I dealt with PCS for a year after a car accident. It isn't fun, and to this day, I am much more succeptible to migraines. I would think that you'd pass a concussion test if your symptoms are only random like mine.

They are random, I just get the dizziness and those sorts of things but went a while without any. The headaches have been gone for a while, but they could come back as well.

It sucks.

Too bad Pronger can't just slash the hell out of this virus.

I'm thinking Mad Horse's **** Disease.

Maybe he's pregnant and having morning sickness. We should play Dr. House and diagnose the guy.

Stick him in the Gyro Machine.

Seriously though, Pronger may just have to sit out for awhile. Any reason (Flyer fans?) to rush him back?

DWI, do you think Pronger might be pregnant?
