08:08 AM ET 12.03 | Jerry Sandusky denied what has become widespread speculation -- that his retirement from coaching football at Penn State in 1999 was related to the 1998 investigation; rather, he said, his retirement stemmed in part from his realization that he would never be made head coach. After the investigation, he said, university officials discussed other opportunities with him, including a position as an assistant athletic director.

I think if the death penalty could immediately be given for this guy, I think most people would be in agreement.

Now let's move on.

I worked briefly as a corrections officer at the county jail. We had to create a special block just for sex offenders because the inmates in the general population often took care of business. I suppose there is some honor among thieves.

I think that Penn State should take the high road and take a year hiatus from football until they clean house from the president on down to the water boy, and start fresh with people not connected to the present administration or athletic dept. If they don't they'll be looked at, in the same vein, as a typical SEC school.

Seriously all he did was create a recruiting machine to funnel disadvantage boy's to the shower. Okay the death penalty sounds a little weak for him!

We will see a **** of denials from Sandusky. The only thing he hasn't denied is that he showers with little boys.
