Marlins negotiating with Ray
Even after signing Jose Castillo on Christmas Eve, the Marlins may not be done giving themselves third base options. Former Tampa Rays second baseman Jorge Cantu looks like the next addition. Steve Canter, Cantu's Los Angeles-based agent, said Wednesday the two sides were "pretty far along" on a deal.

Why is T & R referring to Jorge Cantu as "Ray"? Last time I checked, Jorge is still not Spanish for Raymond, and Cantu did not finish 2007 as a Devil "Ray."
