08:03 AM ET 12.09 | The Steelers escaped Thursday night with their division title hopes intact, but not without cost. [Ben Roethlsiberger] threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Jerricho Cotchery, and later hobbled off the field with a severe ankle injury only to return and complete a 14-3 victory with one more touchdown pass of 79 yards to Antonio Brown. "I thought my leg was broken, honestly," said Roethlisberger, who made the decision to return to play. "It's one of the most painful things I ever felt." ... Roethlisberger has a high ankle sprain, an injury that can keep players out of action for weeks. For Roethlisberger, it was a matter of minutes. He left the game with six mintues to go, had an x-ray and decided to return.

I guess one of those women "Big Ben" didn't have allegations with kicked him too hard.

Gutsy work coming back in, would like to see how much he's limping on it today. Was interesting to see him pacing the sidelines when the D was on the field, didn't want to sit and let it "lock up"--smart move. Bet it looks like a watermelon this morning.

I agree with you all. There is no doubt, regardless of Big Ben's off field behaviour, he is one tough, gutsy, competitor. It has to be a team motivator, to play along side a guy like that.

I know he will. We're happy to be able to see a real QB, fool.
Point is he's as soft as tissue. Ben could shiiiit out a turd tougher than Tom.

The last 7 points just pure icing, Pittsburgh never needed any more points against hapless Cleveland. We'll see how he feels the next day.

Ben has played with so many broken bones, sprains. The only other QB who comes close to being as tough was Terry Bradshaw, another Steeler. And for the record Brady would not only have been choppered out he would be out the rest of the season. Maybe be back for next year if he could stop crying by then. And they would have thrown a flag had it been him.

No way!
The chopper is always in the parking lot with its rotors spun up. No need to call.
