Diamondbacks may deal Saunders

Sounds like the D-Backs are trying to drum up interest in a thin pitching market...

Hmmm. The D-Backs have Kennedy and Hudson and Cahill. After that, isn't their rotation spotty? Wouldn't it make sense to keep this guy too?

Maybe the D-Backs will look to sign Oswalt or Jackson if they can move Saunders?

Saunders is obviously not Koufax, but he is decent, and better than their other options at this point.

He's durable and inexpensive.

this is a no brainer, the d'backs should sign sanders this pitcher can pitch and could rise to the ocassion!!

The D-Backs are counting on their young arms to step up to the task. They have a pretty nice group of young arms and should be able to get some low-cost replacements at the back of the rotation with much more upside than Saunders.

Especially since he whined about being traded to them. That Bauer kid is going to be special, just wait and see.
