Westwood would love to dance on TV

10:01 AM ET 12.11 | Lee Westwood would love to dance on the TV, but has a major ambition to fulfil first He's got other, more important things on his mind at the moment - like the winning of a major championship. So it won't happen next year. Or the year after. Or even the year after that. But maybe a decade or more from now, the world's third-ranked golfer, Lee Westwood, is favorably inclined to give Strictly Come Dancing a try. Of course, it won't be his first trip around the floor. "In retirement I'd love to have a go," confirms the man from Worksop. "My Nan and Grandad used to run an old-time dance school, so I did do a bit when I was a little boy. I was even "highly commended" in a couple of dances: the Lilac Waltz and the Boston Two-Step. And I've still got the medals to prove it."

I feel the same way, Mo.

This ersatz crapola is driving me outta this joint.

But before I go, I'm going to leave you sporty sports friends with some good words, before we fall headlong into this festive season, from Emerson (a personal fave).....

Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it serenely and with too high a
spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Peace to you all.
H from K.

Interns that don't even know what a putter looks like shouldn't be allowed to load golf threads on T & R.

Have a great day H from K. It is sad indeed when the half-wits (an undeserved compliment) running this site drive everyone away.

May your days be merry and bright and all your Christmases be white (but none on your porch or the roads).

I can read it.

I can read it like I drive.

And I drive like I stole it.

Did you guys get a load of the garbage that Greg Norman was spewing out in November's Golf magazine? Here he is dumping on the guy in the White House and never stops to think that maybe he should do his own research instead of getting data from Fox News. It would take three Democratic presidents all duct-taped together to spend what Dubya did while in office (almost 1,800 new federal programs, each with their own budget and Bush never vetoed [stopped] a spending bill that came across his desk for six years.) Never mind the fact that under Obama's watch, he took out Bin Laden and more than 20 high level terrorist admins. And, he waxed the Libyian dictator as well. You know, I'm kind of glad that the Aussies lost the P cup with Norman at the helm. He should take a look in the mirror. Spending 100 million to divorce the stewardess and then marrying the aged tennis star only to divorce her months later. Move back to Australia Greg and take Rupert Murdoch with you. Dummy.
