College coaches have to be some of the biggest liars maybe even more so than politicians.

This dude is LUCKY his team had one of the easiest schedules in the SEC. And/or the SEC just plain sucked this year compared to most seasons which everyone except SEC homers can see.

yeah good point. Richt isnt a good coach, he's just lucky. Lots of luck. 11 years of it. Great point.

Heck, I'm a SEC homer and I saw it. Things drop off like a rock after Bama, LUS and Arky. The East definitely sucked, and I dunno how long it'll be before the sides balance again.

Top-heavy is more the word I would consider correct, but I won't argue that the conf, looked at on the whole, was not as good as usual.

As an LSU fan, I have always thought of Richt as a first class guy and a good coach. The SEC is tough. Georgia has some pretty petty fans.....They have a wonderful school and a good football team. Maybe they could fire the fans....
