08:00 AM ET 12.13 | Some believe they have unlocked the method to Jim Harbaugh's press conference madness. At first, Harbaugh simply refuses to answer questions, seemingly any questions. He's particularly averse to negative queries. Then after getting buffeted for answers, he throws a mini-fit and then he ends up answering some questions. ... Now after a number of short answers, here comes the mini-fit. "We know there's going to be criticisms, we know there's going to be 'Why's' What happened? What took place? Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do that? Who's your go-to guy? We're not going to talk about it. We are going to talk about it to our players, to our team. And make a real effort every single day, this is what we do."

You are 100% right about the reporters. It is so funny to watch and listen to some of the local reporters get so frustrated when Harbaugh won't hand them a story. They are like paparazzi that wet their pants when Lindsay Lohan doesn't step out of a car higher than a kite. They want him to say " Alex Smith really sucked, or that the only thing Braylon Edwards can hold on to is his undeserved paycheck". Or they all clamor about why didn't you run Frank more? So when a coach won't back stab his players for the presses amusement, they write garbage like this- How can we get Harbaugh to trip up and show his poker hand?

It's not so much that they lost, it is to whom they lost to, and in the way in which they lost. Terrible Red Zone Offense. They could have knocked the will to play out of AZ if they had scored TD's instead of FG's, but they didn't and they lost. Bad coaching/play calling and terrible effort from the offense. If Smith can't lead the team into the End Zone, then maybe they should use Kaepernick or Tolzein to run the offense when they get in the Red Zone. Smith seems Claustrophobic when he gets down there, we know that he suffers from tunnel vision from any point on the field but it is intensified when he is in the Red Zone.
