08:17 AM ET 12.14 | The book on Prince Fielder -- the book compiled by his agent, anyway -- is no light read. In conjunction with [Fielder's] free-agent debut, his representatives at the Scott Boras Corporation produced a 73-page binder celebrating his achievements in the game. The book originally encompassed eight sections, but the Boras folks added a ninth after Fielder finished third in the National League Most Valuable Player race -- marking the third time since 2007 that he has cracked the top five. Boras recently distributed the book to assorted general managers, team owners and media members. He also gave a copy to Fielder, who walked with an extra spring in his step after examining the contents.

in 73 pages, there's probably no reference to how quickly his Dad's numbers declined when he hit his 3os.

You would think the GM's out there already have a pretty good idea of what he can and can't do. A 73 page book won't be much of an influance.

Maybe the additional pages are recipes of his favorite foods. That would take up a lot of pages.

How many pages are just recipes that he likes? Or the buffets of choice your city must have before signing him?

In that case, I wouldn't mind reading it.

QUOTE(#18):

Bora$: Gentlemen, we do not stop 'til nightfall. Prince: What about breakfast? Bora$: You've already had it. Prince: We've had one, yes. What about second breakfast? [Bora$ turns and walks off in disgust] CC: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Prince. Prince: What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he? CC: I wouldn't count on it.
