Bradford suffers setback

08:02 AM ET 12.15 | Sam Bradford reportedly wore a walking boot on his left ankle and frustration on his face Wednesday. His nagging ankle injury just won't go away. The ankle was sore following the Rams' 30-13 Monday night loss in Seattle, and it remained sore Wednesday when Bradford was held out of practice at Rams Park. Bradford said there wasn't a specific play against the Seahawks that led to the soreness, but rather just the general wear and tear of four quarters of football. As he said last week, Bradford still isn't considering cutting his season short and going on the injured reserve list. But ... "I will say that it is becoming more and more frustrating to go out there and play, and then after the game feel like I've been set back," Bradford said.

I was hoping his injury issues were behind him after college..but apparently not.

Put him on IR and save yourselves the temptation of playing him again this season, Rams.

What's the point?

This story is redundant. Bradford suffered a setback when they hired McDaniels as his OC.

Seriously, at this point what IS the point in keeping him out there? Bradford's health is about the only piece of the Rams' season that is there to salvage.

He needs the experience.....

There's a good chance he'll have to learn a new coach's system next year anyway.

Not with that makeshift OL.

Throwing the ball to moving targets never change with new schemes. Decision making doesn't really change with new schemes. Experience means more tan any head coach. Take it from a man who's been in the league...

Wow. It's really gettin' deep in here this morning. Where are the life rafts stored, just in case?

Hey man, if it weren't for my bad knees, I'd be a household name. I was on my way to sacking qb's 24.5 times in '01.....

Madden doesn't count.

Ouch.

QUOTE(#2):

So he just suffered a setback?

The Rams' whole season has been one setback after another. At this point they might be just as grateful for the end of the season as they would a win.

His college injuries were why I was praying the Rams wouldn't draft him but they did, damnitall!

Goes to show what they know!
