08:09 AM ET 12.16 | Coming out on the short end of any competition doesn't sit well with Kobe Bryant, and hearing the hype about their L.A. neighbor hasn't helped. The Hallway Rivalry has taken a series of unimaginable turns that have left the Lakers in a corner so dark, even Kobe Bryant can't see. "I'm not sure what the [heck] is the direction, to be honest with you," he said. Five miles north, after years of lingering in the Lakers' shadow, the Clippers were taking their first steps into what could be a prolonged and powerful stay in the Los Angeles spotlight. Here at Lakers camp, Bryant was lost. "I don't know, dude," he said when asked about his team's future. "I'm telling you, I don't know. I'm not going to BS you. I don't know."

Didn't he posed the same question when they traded Odom?

Unbelievable... the Great Kobe doesn't know what the Lakers are doing. I thought they consulted him on everything they did for his approval before making any kind of move!

Not that HOF Kobe needs my approval, but I hope he does not become a baby again, that did not get his way, and take his ball and go home ( trade request ).........I would lose alot of respect for him.....I thought that Kobe had matured over the last few years...

So he's fooled you as well.
