08:21 AM ET 12.16 | Mattias Ohlund's season is officially in jeopardy. Lightning coach Guy Boucher gave the grimmest assessment yet about [Ohlund], who has not played a regular-season game because of two bum knees that Boucher said "are worn down." Boucher even hinted Ohlund might not play this season. Asked if he was operating as if Ohlund will not be back, Boucher said, "I've been doing that for a while; not because I didn't think he'd come back, but that's how I have to be as a coach. As a team, guys are not really waiting for him. We've accepted we've lost one of our top (defensemen) and other guys have to play against the top lines and log the minutes." Ohlund, 35, had surgeries Oct. 11 on both knees to clean out "loose bodies."

At 35 with bad knees its probably time to think about a second career. One that enables to be able to walk without too much of a limp when you turn 60.

The Southeast Division is especially bad this year. The Panthers have given teams trouble but I can't see a team from that division, especially the Caps, winning the East this year.

Looks that way, but he's gonna be alright.

I have to say this. After last year's run to the playoffs I was liking Boucher....during them I thought he treated the media and fans like idiots with his fake B.S that he tried to force feed us.

Now I'm almost certain I don't like him.

Stevie Y, will be fine.....I think.........but only time will tell!!!
