10:08 AM ET 12.17 | The Jets made minor changes to quarterback Mark Sanchez's contract last Friday, according to two people with knowledge of the adjustments. These people requested anonymity because they are not authorized to speak for Sanchez or the team. The changes are mainly for housekeeping, one of the people said, and no money is changing hands. The resulting changes to the Jets' salary cap are not consequential, the person added.

Interesting? And this happens when he's having a not-so-great season. Is there more to the story? Oh, goody, rumors!

What are you talking about?? Sanchez is having a solid season, if fact he has been in the NFL for three years and this is his best season so far.

Sanchez is not as good as everyone thought he was going to be. But, at least he is not as bad as he could have been.

leave sanchise alone......hes not having a pro bowl season, but he is having the best statistical season of his career so far and more importantly he's shown that he steps up in the playoffs The jets are 8-5 and would be better if their D didn't lose them the bronco and Raider gamesHe's not an elite qb- but you can win with himHis O coordinator doesn't allow him to throw it around and as a result...his growth potential is limited. He still has room to grow-

Thank you!!! Sanchez is a solid QB who is improving every year!!!

Well, most of us expected him to leave teenaged girls alone. Big disappointment there.

LOL, Yeah I guess we all are homers, but some of us use a little common sense when we make comments and then some of us come off the wall with BS!!!!

We are not dealing with homers on this article!!! We are talking about a starting QB in the NFL, that has went to the AFC Championship game two years in a row.

Wind 'em up and let 'em go...

Same could be said for Matthew Mulligan.

J-E-T-S will win as many super bowls with Sanchez as the Cowboys will win with Romo.

Zero...

My issues with the Jets is Ryan. Sanchez is pretty good at most of the traditional QB tasks. If we could get rid of Chunky Monkey, the team would be better off
