10:19 AM ET 12.18 | Last night on "Saturday Night Live," God got his chance to answer Tim Tebow's prayers. Well, sort of. And He had a few almighty words for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as well. In the skit, Jesus, portrayed by cast member Jason Sudeikis, entered the Broncos' lockerroom as Tebow (Taran Killam) was Tebowing following the Broncos' 13-10 victory over the Bears last week. After critiquing Tebow in front of his teammates as only the Son of God could do, Jesus turned his attention to Tebow's opponents today. Upon being told the Broncos were playing the Patriots, Jesus replied: "Oh boy, really? Wow. OK. Did not know that. That's going to be a tough one. This doesn't leave this room, but if I'm the Son of God, Tom Brady's got to be the guy's nephew. The guy's a miracle worker."

SNL is stale, would have been better as a South Park scene.

Tebow humor is low-hanging fruit, which is pretty much what SNL specializes in these days.

It's a cynical attempt to get all of the Tebow and Brady haters out there to comment. But it can be the vehicle to discuss a very interesting match up. The best line that I've read this week concerns the Broncos offense vs the Patriots defense. It is the resistable force vs the moveable objects.

I never thought I'd say this but, GO EAGLES!

The Pats can still clinch the AFC East if the Jets lose.
