11:45 AM ET 12.18 | As the chief architect of the career of Floyd Mayweather, perhaps the most prominent fighter since Mike Tyson, this man ranks among boxing's most powerful figures. He also stands between Mayweather and a blockbuster fight with Manny Pacquiao. From behind the curtain, Al Haymon watched as Mayweather called his sizable entourage onstage, thanking bodyguards, assistants and assistants to assistants. "Where's Al Haymon?" Mayweather said as he scanned the audience, his question a familiar one. Mayweather shrugged. "Al Haymon would never come up here," he added. "Al Haymon is the Ghost."

Just get it done already. Tired of hearing all the talk...I agree with Doc by the time this fight actually happens both fighters will be way past their primes.

What's the over/under on this fight happening in the new year??

QUOTE(#6):

Enough of this nonsense. Mayweather doesn't want any parts of Pacquiao. He's afraid of him and every half way intelligent fair thinking person knows it. If Mayweather ever fight Pac Man it'll be way after anyone cares enough to watch it.

If Pac leaves his chin out there like he did a couple weeks ago he wont be winning much of anything. What do you think Floyd would have done if he was the opponent? Pac and May have to fight, but to call may afraid is just dumb

I for one would not pay a penny to watch Mayweather fight.

I don't think Mayweather is afraid of Manny, I just don't think he want any part of Manny.
