08:23 AM ET 12.19 | Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle had an excuse, though he chose not to use it. Boyle mentioned after last Tuesday's game against Colorado that this season has been the "toughest I've ever had, physically," without getting into specifics. He revealed much more to Sharks radio host Jamie Baker following the 3-2 win over Edmonton at HP Pavilion on Saturday night. "I don't want to make it sound like an excuse, but [injuries have] been a factor. I had a broken foot there for a while, and it really hurt my skating. Just being healthy for me has been a big difference the last five or six games or so." Obviously, a broken foot would hinder one of Boyle's biggest strengths -- his foot speed.

To pay doctor bills he 's the Black Knight for Monty Python. All in all though his health is good. He'll be in the line-up for the next game. Oops..............there goes the left arm.
