Will Bears chase receiver in '12?

08:18 AM ET 12.21 | Will the Bears start fixating on a No. 1 wide receiver in the offseason? Whether Jerry Angelo knows it or not, the question "Does the quarterback make the receiver or does the receiver make the quarterback" has been answered this year. And the critical question is whether Angelo knows it or not because from the time the Bears moved Roy Williams ahead of Johnny Knox in training camp, they proved again they know little about wide receivers and even less about managing people. Williams' untimely drops, Knox's injury, Devin Hester's stagnation and Caleb Hanie throwing into triple coverage for Dane Sanzenbacher should make it pretty clear something needs to be done.

Once they take care of that weird "big brown thing" following Williams around, then maybe he will start catching the ball.

Should they? Yes. Will they? Probably not.

Chasing receivers...is this referring to the draft or to the secondary?

Jerry Angelo needs to go. Lovie too. They can not develope any secondary players. They have been here for years and we still DO NOT HAVE ANYONE THAT CAN STEP IN WHEN SOMEONE GOES DOWN. Poor managemenat and coaching. Time to move on without them.

The talent is out there and it's not difficult to locate. The Bears front office doesn't like spending the money on top-tier free agent talent.

Yep... there is always next season.

Who knows, maybe Bruce Allen can acquire a nice free agent QB for you. I'd bet that Kyle Orton will be available...
