08:03 AM ET 12.23 | First, the good news. Linebacker Patrick Willis returned to limited practice Thursday after being sidelined for nearly three weeks with a right hamstring strain, the 49ers confirmed in their participation report. Willis' status for Saturday's game against the Seattle Seahawks remains up in the air. He will likely be listed as questionable, a game-time decision. With temperature at Qwest Field expected to be in the mid-40s with showers in the forecast, the 49ers will have to weigh the risk of playing Willis when Larry Grant has done a good job in his absence. The 49ers want Willis healthy for the playoffs.

I can't stand Howard Stern. Perhaps early on shocking people with his act was original, but I think he's just a tired old mess of man trying to regain some semblance of popularity or relevance.

Well, here's another shining example of how a lack of proper pre-season conditioning and training camp has bit the Niner's in the butt. I'm actually surprised more hammy type issues didn't surface this season.

Baba Booey??? ..."Excuse me stewardess , I speak jive"... remember that line from "Airplane"?
