08:14 AM ET 12.23 | Joe Flacco's job just became a little harder. If the Ravens are going to win the AFC North and clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs, they???ll have to do it without veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin. Boldin, who leads the team in receiving yards and is second to running back Ray Rice in receptions, had surgery Thursday to repair a "slight" meniscus tear in his knee and he???ll miss at least the final two games of the regular season. "It flapped up on him, I think it was Tuesday night after the walk-through," said Ravens coach John Harbaugh. "He???s going to have to get it repaired. It???s a two-week thing. It???s two weeks and he???ll be back for the playoffs, whatever round we happen to play in."

Advantage goes to the Ravens on that then. Boldin is a beast, no doubt. But, Roethlisberger means so much more to his team. It will be interesting if Flacco can refrain from gimptitude during his absence.

It NEVER is for Baltimore...they can never relax even for the last game of the year.

i guess that's their fault, though.

Flacco will be fine w/out him for these last 2 games. It's about time Lee Evans stepped up and maybe get some PT for some of these younger guys like Williams and Doss as well as Torrey Smith and Pitta/Dickson at TE.

... again, what's with that phrase?

Flacco needs to take care of the ball; run more, pass less. They'll be playing my Packers in February. By the way; it's snowing like crazy here today. Neither the Niners or the Saints do well in the snow.

Merry Christmas to all.
