08:37 AM ET 12.23 | Just about the only thing that could stop Kellen Moore from winning football games has finally come to pass after win No. 50. No one may ever get to that kind of milestone. To even get close to Kellen Moore's win total, one would have to join a completely stable and dominating program that contends for the National Championship on a annual bases, start from very beginning as a freshman, and dominate the competition 94 percent of the time. This story far exceeds anything else in college football, including the SEC rematch for the BCS Title. ... College football may never witness another 50 game winner for a long time. "It might take 100 years," [Brock Osweiler] added. Which is why this is the biggest story in college football.

Good for K. Moore. I would have cheered for him at Boise State, but I hate that effin' blue field.

The lack of threads on the Ohio State bowl ban is as remarkable as Moore's 50 wins.

How appropriate that the thread about the biggest story in college football starts with a spam post.

Congrats to Mr. Moore. His achievements have certainly been remarkable.

Just a bit pretentious to think that THIS is the biggest story in college football...LMFAO....

December 23, 2011  09:00 AM ET

While a remarkable accomplishment....Look who they played over those years....

December 23, 2011  09:03 AM ET

I'm thinking, maybe, a dozen of those wins were over teams that had a prayer of beating Boise State. I'm also thinking that's why this story is one that few people actually care about. Boise State isn't a fraud, but their schedule is. Year after year.

Yep and IMHO they would have taken any of the four participants in this years Sugar and Orange Bowls.

Not sayin they didn't beat "some" good teams...but look at the body of work as a whole...the conference is arguably the weakest in the nation...

Put him in the SEC...Big Ten...Big 12....he has 1/2 the wins....

Totally agree.....TCU's narrow win over a team that was the second-best in the State of Mississippi kinda puts it in perspective for me.

GREAT QB in a very weak conference. Too bad we couldn't see him face more than 1-2 quality opponents a year.

7 down, 43 to go.......I guess winning 14% of your games agianst equal competition is ok

+1, and not inviting him to New York this year was pure BS.

I tend to think if you put him in the SEC ... Big Ten ... Big 12 ... he has a better supporting cast.

The man can flat out throw the football. He can also read defenses.
