Ronde Barber thinks Eli Manning is vulnerable. But Plaxico Burress thinks the Bucs cornerback has the wrong Giant on his mind. "I don't think he needs to worry about No. 10," Burress told the Daily News on Thursday. "He needs to worry about No.17."

What? 75% Speed and when the game is not going the way he wants, then he drops passes...............

Plus, Plaxico should worry about Eli's timing to get in between the creases of the Cover 2 Defense. Barber won't be Man to Man alot, so Burress has to find spaces and he needs to worry about FS Tanard Jackson and SS Jermaine Phillips.

He got that number confuse he meant to say #27

Funny.

The Juice is right though. #27 should be Tampa Bay's concern. If the Giants pound him all day, that aging defense will start to show some cracks.

Good for Plax sticking up for his teamate... which is the only real point of this article incase you missed it... Eli cant handle pressure very well, so Plax is trying to put it on himself and take it off of Eli, maybe the first smart move of his life...

Plax will dominate? You're not queer are you?

Before he can dominate, he should first learn to catch the ball before asking for a big raise. Thats that.

I noticed thats your favorite insult to throw around. Besides the fact that you lack some necessary knowledge here, the guts of the article tell us that Burress, the #1 WR on our team, is telling the cornerback of the Bucs that he should be more worried about him. Why you ask? Because Burress was one of the top receivers this year before the injury bug. And whats this stuff about a big raise?

By the way in case you people dont watch the Giants every week, Burress & Shockey stopped showing up Eli after incomplete passes and misreads this season. In fact, Burress stepped up as a leader on this team. He never complains for the ball, and he suits up hurt every week.

I agree that that pic was not Eli's doing. But that play was bang-bang, and he hesitated for one short second. Also..I dont want him jumping around when he's not catching balls in the end zone. He hobbles around the entire game. That wasnt a must-win game, mind you. He has been much, much better this year with Eli. I've watched them for 60 minutes every week.

Plaxico isn't injured he just doesn't want to practice

As for the pick that Plax "should have" jumped for. It was difficult to tell whether or not Plax could have caught the ball, yes he could have got a hand on it, but hauling it in with two hands is left up for debate. I think Plax thought that the best play was to let it go incomplete out of bounds, instead of tipping it and possibly having it picked that way. You gotta admit that the DB made a great play to get both hands on it and both feet in.

That said, because it is Plax and he has been know to give up on plays in the past, it is easy to place blame on him. I think if Marvin Harrison lets that pass go under the assumption that it is a safer play to let it go out of bounds than to tip it and increase the risk of an interception, very few would call him out.

For sure Plax has a history of giving up, but I havn't seen that from him as of late. This is not to say that he is cured of his laziness. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him give up on a play or two at some point in the playoffs. But you gotta admit he has done a good job getting rid of that part of his game.
