08:12 AM ET 12.26 | The Mike Brown era had an interesting beginning over the weekend. After being here an entire 48 regular-season minutes, [Brown] did the unimaginable Sunday. We only wish he had realized it. ... [At the end of Sunday's game,] Bryant said he had a "miscommunication" with [Pau Gasol] and tried to pass because he "realized they weren't going to foul. They were just trapping." Brown wasn't so certain. "The ball went to the right player's hands," the coach said. "I'm not sure. I have not asked him why he jumped to make the pass. But, yeah, we would have liked for him to hold on to it, and then for them to foul him." At that exact moment, we officially missed Phil Jackson for the first time.

kobe's mind is not accepting the fact he is getting old. Four years ago he makes that layup over everyone. Now he has no buisness trying to jump over 3 people off the verticle.

gasol sucks on crucial time during 4th quarter, missing his 2 free throws even on 1st quarter he missed both on charity but look at the brighter side, their defense improved but on offense kinda feel their still adjusting? then again they choked on crucial moments enough said

I agreed.
For one I was very pleased with the Lakers D and the new guys on the block.
Blake played so much better than the entire last season and Kobe just had too many turnovers and made a bad call in the last possession, but I don't see him doing it again.
Artist is a good candidate to amnesty if he doesn't improve.
