08:31 AM ET 12.26 | Coming out of the holiday break, Stan Bowman considers himself still in a shopping frame of mind. [Bowman and his staff] have been preparing to be active as the Feb. 27 trade deadline nears. He has the salary-cap space to do so. If he could make moves that improved his team now, he would, but Bowman said others aren't ready to trade, at least not the players the Hawks are keeping tabs on and envision being available. "As it is right now, there are a number of teams that are probably long shots to get in [the playoffs]," Bowman said. "But they've only played 30 or something games. They're not going to give up on their season yet and trade their players away. It's a big waiting game."

Have patience. We still have two months to go till the trading deadline. The number of stories like this one will go up as we get closer to it then even after.

Maybe he'll trade another key player away like Buff.

Buff was not a key player, they have kept all their key players. He was a good role player on a Stanley Cup winning team but the fact that they robbed Atlanta in getting rid of him shouldn't bother a Hawks fan in the least bit cause it doesn't bother me one bit.

The only way they could trade him is if they include the keith fella into the trade.

Is that your stupid idea of boosting your posts numbers? Go back to watching Sesame Street reruns, you idiot.

Yeah. The interns have figured out how to copy and paste. Quite a novel approach to making the job easier, don't you think?

LMAO. I see him, usually on the Golf threads and a few others as well. Same message he always uses when he gets to post first usually. Apparently thinks that's clever. I've seen smarter pet rocks! (Sesame Street is a little too cerebral for him).

I still have my pet rock in its original box. It's very smart, stays wherever I place it, and never causes any trouble. :-)
