Boozer's role reduced?

08:14 AM ET 12.29 | Carlos Boozer's first choice wouldn't be to sit on the bench, but that's where he's found himself in critical minutes. [Boozer] didn't attempt a second-half shot in Monday night's loss to the Warriors. For the second time in three games -- dating back to the Eastern Conference finals -- he watched the fourth quarter from the bench. But ask Boozer if he's troubled over his 10.5 points per game average thus far and you will hear a telling response. "I'm not concerned at all," Boozer said following Wednesday's practice at the Warriors' practice facility. ... Thibodeau said Boozer "like everybody has been up and down." And players and coaches alike have talked about poor offensive execution thus far.

What I want to know is how do guys that suck as badly as Boozer ever even get a job in the NBA to begin with?

It's Rose,Hamilton,Deng and Boozer in that order.Sure he can score easier now, but even before they signed Rip Deng took over as the #2 scorer then. Now with Rip Boozer is the #4 scorer on the team.

Nope. Deng is aggressively seeking to be the 2nd option. He is an improved player this year (again) I think he is actually the teams leading scorer at the moment with a 21.5 avg. That wont last long but look for him to settle into the 2nd option roll.

Booz. I dont know what to say about that guy.

You Are The Bull's Achilles Heel, Bro.

The Bulls have looked bad in both games this season. And really everyone has besides Deng. But it's only two games. They started out 12-9 last year.

Having said that, if boozer plays this way all year I would think the Bulls cut him and go after Westbrook to play SG.

Dont you think Westbrook and Rose would be redundant? I'd rather they sweeten the pot and go after Howard if things dont seem to be working out. With that said I think they will be fine.

Ditto. As I've said before, the Bulls are one of the few teams that can offer a better package than the Lakers (that is if they include Gasol WITH Bynum). But it doesn't sound like Howard wants to play here. It would've been sweet to watch him paired up with DRose.
