Westbrook-for-Curry?

08:12 AM ET 12.30 | Is a Russell Westbrook-Kevin Durant combo good for the long haul? If the Thunder do want Westbrook, it's not a given that he wants to be there. He's told friends he feels Thunder coach Scott Brooks blames him for losses, while the credit for victories goes to Durant. You also don't hear Westbrook constantly profess his love of playing in a small market. ... Within minutes of the bench spat Wednesday night Twitter exploded with all kinds of trade suggestions for Westbrook. But I didn't see anyone mention the best idea: to Golden State for Stephen Curry. Curry is still on his rookie contract through 2012-13 (when he'll make $4 million) so he would almost guarantee the Thunder stay below the tax threshold for another year.

Uh...They got along fine last night....But that is an intriguing deal to bad Ellis AND Westbrook in the same backcourt would definitely not work.

westbrook turns the rock over at an alarming rate....try playing maynor, westbrook/harden, and durantula....lethal small ball lineup

Slimmer, yes......ripped?He ain't kevin willis.....lol

Well from what he looked like before he was "ripped"....lol

So i when i was watching him I started to think his game reminded me of Malone with three point range....The big wide strong body not much jump out of the gym athleticism but gets the job done...

westbrook for rajon rando in a straight up trade. That would work for each team. The thunder would get a pure point guard who does not mind giving up the ball and letting another player make the big plays. And the celtics get an additional scorer who can possibly give them another superstar for the future once the big three hang up their sneakers.

Here is what should happen -- with the understanding that some of the player movements will involve more players and/or draft picks. But the principals involved are

Westbrook to Knicks
Amare to Magic
Howard to Lakers
Gasol to Warriors
Curry to Thunser

And the Thunder also lose one of their only 3 scorers on the whole team....So im sure they would just laugh....

whole time though rondo can score to. But he is also going to give you double digit assits and rebounds and his defensive game is way better than westbrook. Westbrook has to go because it is apparant that he thinks he is better than durant. And he is not wrong for thinking so because he might feel that he didnt make it to the nba to be somebodys robin lol he might want to be batman. but that means he has to go

this was the first thing I thought as well....that back court could not work

With Ellis shooting 30 shots a night what PG would work there? LOL

The move was to trade him for CP3 straight-up. Missed that train...so you don't trade him. Besides, Durant needs Westbrook.
