08:04 AM ET 01.02 | Santonio Holmes didn't make many friends in what turned out to be the final game of the Jets season on Sunday. Holmes had been "moping" through the course of the game, not listening to quarterback Mark Sanchez, according to players. ... [Said LaDainian Tomlinson:] "The worst thing that can happen, the worst thing, is when your teammates start to question your passion for the game. That's the worst thing. And I think in that huddle, that's what you saw. When guys looked in his eyes, and he didn't have that fire in his eyes, guys were turned off about that ... The demeanor is, 'I quit,' or whatever it may be." According to one player, who asked to remain nameless, it wasn't just this game. "He quit," the player said.

When asked if the Jets gave sufficient effort, cornerback Antonio Cromartie said: "Uh, maybe on one side of the ball."

Plenty of blame to go around. Team is overrated, Sanchez is terrible. Revis is overrated as well.

The New York media built this team up to be better than it was, now comes the fun part, when they tear the team to shreds.

Maybe LT is not the best person to talk about quitting on teammates.

Well, he is the voice of experience.

WORD!

Remember all that Jets-Eagles SB talk at the beginning of the year?

And that's just three problems. I thought the meltdown would take place during last season....I didn't but it appears to have started now. They probably won't even reach .500 next season.

They need a total rework of the coaching staff and an honest evaluation of the talent on the field. It's going to take more than 1 offseason to resolve all the issues they have. They could start with trading up in the draft and taking a QB, although there are a lot of teams ahead of them with pressing QB needs.

The interns don't make much and you get exactly what you pay for, or don't pay for.

It was quite amusing yesterday to watch Mr. Creosote's post-game news conference and hear him defend his bluff and bravado.

Without a couple of gift wins early this season (Dallas & one I haven't had enough java to remember yet) they wouldn't have this year.

Bottom of the AFC East next season.

That would be sweet. I could certainly envision Buffalo and Miami leap frogging them next year. At least they have serviceable QB's

It is so satisfying watching them lose.

People need to quit hating on Revis. He continually proves he's the best CB in the league, even with the spotlight on him.
