08:03 AM ET 01.03 | There will be no riding off into the sunset for Peyton Manning and Bill Polian. A relationship rooted in the 1998 draft and nurtured through 14 playoff-filled years with the Indianapolis Colts ended too soon, as far as [Manning] is concerned. There would be no "fairytale ending" the veteran quarterback had envisioned. ... "I was surprised, shocked, disappointed," Manning said in a telephone interview with The Indianapolis Star. "I don't want to speak for Bill, but I did meet with him and he is (shocked) as well." ... "I'd be the first to tell you that had Bill not been here when I was coming out for the draft, I'm not sure how I would have felt about coming to Indianapolis."

Maybe Peyton's having mixed feelings now in Indy......Maybe he might feel its time to move on?

Colts and Manning move on. Where does he end up?

The Polians didn't seem to have a Plan B when Plan A underwent season ending surgery.

Andrew Luck looked pretty damn good last night! Going 26 of 30 and selling the play action like a champ. Kind of reminds me of that one QB that plays for the Colts.

The guy that drafted Manning was released, Manning next.

I'm surprised it's not done already.

Caldwell should be gone and I think that will happen soon. But more interesting is how in gods green earth does Norv Turner still have a job? I guess the impression I got from SoCal sports fans when I lived there is true, they are too laid back and don't really care so much how their team does.... Anywhere else the fanbase would be calling for Norvs head.

On a side note can we just have more threads about how the Jets threw up on themselves this year. It makes me happy.

Better get that neck healed soon or you'll be joining them. Enter Andrew Luck.

Scenario: Colts draft Luck. Manning says I want out. Cowboys pick up Manning to a three year contract. Romo wants out. Romo traded to Washington for a 1st and 2nd round pick. Romo leads Redskins to the SB.

Wow...... all the other stuff seemed plausible until you ended with "Romo leads Redskins to the SB."

Ditto... and a 1st AND 2nd rounder for Romo?
