08:02 AM ET 01.06 | Closing in on Wild Card weekend, the Steelers continue to learn bad news on the injury front. Center Maurkice Pouncey, who returned to play Sunday after missing two games with a high ankle sprain, did not practice Thursday because his ankle took a turn for the worse. "I practiced the other day and toward the end I got sore," Pouncey said after practice Thursday. "Today, I came in and my ankle was real sore, so I don't know what the turnout is going to be. Right now, I'm not practicing." Pouncey clearly was not happy about the turn of events. ... Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said he is concerned about Pouncey's chance of playing Sunday. Doug Legursky would start at center Sunday in Denver if Pouncey cannot play.

Everybody's Hurting!!!

January 6, 2012  08:36 AM ET

I don't think they have one player healthy.

January 6, 2012  08:38 AM ET

Jeopardy!?!

I'll take famous Steeler's who shouldn't have played last weekend for $200.

"the answer is Pouncey, Worthlessburger and Polololomoluu".

Bzzzzz. Who are the Steelers...

Correct. Pick again

I'll take "Days of the week that end in "Y"...

January 6, 2012  08:51 AM ET

The Squeelers will probably win but I want Elvis Kool D. to tenderize Big Ben just in case they meet my PATS in the next round...

Pouncey seems to be always hurt when there is a big game. You're not in college anymore this is the big time and you're getting a nice paycheck.

January 6, 2012  10:01 AM ET

sit him out and get him ready for next week

January 6, 2012  10:01 AM ET

Maybe Tebow can lay hands on Markice and Ben and heal them before the game?

My sentiments exactly. We'll need him healthy down the road to the Super Bowl!

Hijack; It's a joke... the only day that doesn't end in "Y"... wait for it...wait...

He will pray for them to heal quickly in the offseason once he has ousted the Steelers from the playoffs.

Yeah, he played every game as a rookie and sat out the Super bowl faking an injury, put down your crack pipe and step in front of a bus

The other guys will step up, it won't be easy but the Steelers should Survive!!

I kinda like the Bronco's chances. Pittsburgh's o-line is banged up and weak, starting rb out (not all that huge) & a banged up less mobile Roethlisberger. If the Denver D can put the pressure on Big Ben I think they have got a good shot here. They were never really supposed to make the playoffs this year anyways so they should just go out and play like they have nothing to lose. The pressure is all on the Steelers to win this one.

Your going to have to drag Big Ben off the Field, he is the Ultimate Leader and I can think of a better opponent than Tim Teabow, who is without question The Next Big Ben!!! Gonna be interesting!!!
