08:06 AM ET 01.11 | A season of discord and dysfunction has become an offseason featuring more discord and dysfunction, including Jets players painting an unflattering picture of Mark Sanchez. They raised serious doubts about his ability to lead the Jets, questioning everything from his practice habits to the organization's coddling of him to how much of a role he truly played in the team making two consecutive AFC Championship Game appearances. They also invited the opportunity to replace Sanchez with Peyton Manning. ... "We have to bring in another quarterback that will make him work at practice," said one player. "He's lazy and content because he knows he's not going to be benched."

My father-in-law plays golf with one of the Sanchize's high school coaches.

Assessment - dumb as a rock and entitled as hell.

Peyton, play for Ryan? Are you kidding me? You think Peyton Manning's going to put up with a coach who thinks he can inspire his quarterback by slagging him one week and threatening to bench him, then the next week giggling and saying he'd never bench his star? If the Jets are the best option he can find, Peyton would be better trusting his Luck with the Colts.

If they got Manning I dont think Ryan could ever threaten to bench him unless health is an issue. If they make a Manning trade they are throwing all their chips in and he's their guy.

I wonder how the new Jest O-coordinator will feel about all this. The poor schmuck.
