08:09 AM ET 01.11 | The Pistons officially hosted 10,073 for this season's eighth loss in 10 games, though attendance may not be their chief concern. The Pistons are last in the NBA in attendance. Entering this debacle, they were averaging 12,037 per game, more than 2,000 behind the 76ers and more than 3,000 behind the Sacramento Kings. The Kings! Have you seen the Kings' marketing strategy? ... Afterward, [Lawrence Frank] talked about "pain" as part of the process, but Tayshaun Prince said: "That ain't how I envisioned it." Prince also admitted he is frustrated. And when he was asked if the Pistons' performance alarms him, he said: "Yes, it does, it alarms me."

That is one really bad professional basketball team right there...

And, having watched the game last night, I can assure everyone that there weren't 10,000 people in that building.

Not unless they were all at the concession stands when the cameras panned the crowd. I appreciate them being so accomodating to the Mavs last night however.

Sigh...Wake me up on a draft night.

Haha - Still early in the season Biggie - Hopefully they'll turn it around soon and get some of the guys back healthy!

How did the Pistons get here? Lets' count the ways.

1. Wasting all the cap space on bad free agent signings in Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva.

2. Signing Rip Hamilton to a large contract extension when his skills were in decline and right after signing Ben Gordon who plays the same position, has the same skills and type of game.

3. Trading Billups for Iverson and killing the team chemistry.

4. Overvaluing Rodney Stuckey and thinking he's a star and handing him the team to run.

5. Ownership of the team in termoil. (resolved)

6. Going throw great coaches so fast that only bad coaches will take the job.

Any other reasons?

Six trips to the Conference Finals, two trips to the Finals and one title.....Yeah worse than Zeke......

Joe needs to go. His time is up. He has never been a good daft GM and his recent moves make me wanna puke everytime I look at this team. Stuckey sucks and overpaid, Gordon a role player streak shooter overpaid, Prince Im just lost on why he is even on the team and I will not even mention the hairless one. No bigs except Monroe and as good as he can become he is not ready yet. Good thing this is a deep draft and hopefully we will have a new GM.....yet I still watch and go to games faithfully

Things haven't been the same for these pistons since losing to the celt's in the ECF in 08... if they could go back in time and not have gave Villanueva and Gordon those large contracts they would do just that.....

I admire that. You're a true fan and thats what true fans do. Its ok to recognize the flaws and problems but you never abandon your team. I threaten to jump ship on the Knicks many times a season, but still I remain. Lord knows they don't deserve my dedication, but doggone it they have it anyway.

Loyalty is a must....but can be very upsetting also

good for you... when you root for a bad team, you have to embrace the good, the potential that you see in it and watch that hopefully develop over time. however, i'd stop going to games and only watch on tv, but that's just me.
