08:15 AM ET 01.16 | Lamar Odom went from popular Lakers forward to former Lakers forward, and he still misses what it means to play for the franchise. He still has some questions for the Lakers, who play the Mavericks on Monday at Staples Center. "For them just to [try to] trade me without communicating, it made me start to ask myself questions like 'Why would they do something like that?'" said Odom, who found out he was in the attempted Paul trade from a Times reporter. "It hurt my feelings. Why would they choose to go that route?" ... "It was impossible for me not to take it personally. When I spoke to one of the representatives for the Lakers, the first thing he said was 'Don't take it personally.'"

Uh...BC they probably figured you would throw a temper tantrum in the front office and they would have to have security escort you out?

Damn Odom, grow up dude. NBA is business. Learn something from your ex-teammate Pau Gasol. **** up and play ball.

QUOTE(#9):

This is getting embarrassing. You're sounding whinier than the Kardashian women...Mavericks' players sure are crybabies!

You can't stereotype all the Mav's players because one can't let go of the realization that he's just part of the business model of the NBA.

But Odom does need to let go already and start playing basketball for crying out loud.
