08:10 AM ET 01.18 | Count teammate Ed Reed's among the voices critical of Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. In a Monday interview with SiriusXM satellite radio, Reed said Flacco "was kind of rattled a little bit" Sunday. "They had a lot of guys in the box on him and they were giving it to him. I think a couple of times he needed to get rid of the ball. It just didn't look like he had a hold on the offense," Reed said. ... "It was just kind of like they [were] telling him [what] to do -- throw the ball or get it here, you know, get it to certain guys." Reed believes Flacco needs to pick up his play to beat the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game this weekend. "He can't play like that," Reed said.

Well sure, but don't go on radio to state the obvious.

I agree with Ed... Flacco does not handle pressure well at all.

Whether it is in front of him or in his mind...

Patriots roll Sunday.

There has always seemed to be some disconnect between the Ravens defense and offense during the Ray Lewis era.

They need to call him out... Flacco stinks.

And if he blows this game, look for Tyrod Taylor "The Human Highlight Reel", to be QB'ing the Ravens next year.

Word.

They need to call out not only the QB but the coach and stop dropping passes.

Yeah and 100% wrong to air it in public. A veteran like Reed should know better

Isn't it customary to wait until you are out of the playoffs before shetting on your own team?

January 18, 2012  08:53 AM ET

Let's see just how well Reed does on Sunday, if I were him I'd be using the ladder!!!

Like the Steelers kept it "in house" when Ben Roethlisburger raped all those people?

And next he will say it was all taken out of context.

Agreed, this may cause Flacco to press a bit... and the Patriots did have a turnover differential of plus 17 for the season.
