10:14 AM ET 01.21 | Jim Tressel's brief and ancillary role with the Indianapolis Colts might evolve into something more substantial. Owner Jim Irsay's plane flew Friday morning to Sarasota, Fla., where Tressel owns a home, and returned to Indianapolis later in the day. Multiple sources have said they expect the former Ohio State University coach to be interviewed for the Colts vacant head coaching position, but that could not be confirmed. The Colts were expected to interview New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. on Thursday evening or Friday, and The Tennessean reported Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray also was interviewed Friday.

I see a whole new line of NFL gear. Sweater Vests with your teams logo on it in team colors, matching bow tie.
Yes, this could work.

Ditto this. I'm not sure why the Colts chose to have any affiliation with Tressel. He's not a victim of circumstances, only his own poor judgment.

I am not the biggest JT fan but I believe his coaching style is better fitted for the pro's. He plays a possession game relying on solid D and strong special teams because he has never really had an explosive offense. When you add in Manning or Luck he could really do great things with either and quite honestly, there are way to many HC vacancies and not many candidates with HC experience.
That being said, I wonder if the Colts have reached out to Cowher or even Chuckie??? I think Bill could really do great things with that team.

I can hear it now if Tressel gets hired: "Boys, the tattoos are on me!"

True. With a rookie QB next year, they'll take some hits.
Peyton will be somewhere else, or retired. We all know that, don't we?

I have taken to wearing sweater vests at school. I like the look, but I can't stand Tressel. If the kids think I stole the look from him, by God, there will be detentions to serve!

Maybe the NFL has a rule you have to interview at least one coach that's corrupt?
