Revenge factor real for Pats

08:03 AM ET 01.25 | In New England, the name David Tyree still stings. Eight Patriots remain from the team that came so close to achieving the ultimate four years ago, only to walk away devastated after losing 17-14 to New York. Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Kevin Faulk, Vince Wilfork, Matt Light, Logan Mankins, Dan Koppen and Stephen Gostkowski are the lone remnants from the group that fell minutes short of completing a perfect season. ... Will avenging that loss play any role in the upcoming game? Will it factor in at all? "Of course it will," said former Patriots safety and current NBC analyst Rodney Harrison, who won't ever forget being unable to knock a miracle catch away from [Tyree] with 1:15 to play in Glendale, Ariz.

These aren't the same Giants...

It is What it Is!!!

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Too bad the game is being played indoors.

Well that's great assuming that Rodney plans to suit up for it. Like the story says there's only 8 guys left from that team and I think the whole "revenge" thing is just analyst talk. Does anyone really think that the Pats would be working less or not preparing the same if they were playing the Saints, Packers or 49ers???

And now a word from the Patriot Kid......

We're gonna CRUSH those freakin' Giants, pal. You watch, suckers. Gronk is gonna stomp through the defense like a steamroller through an animal shelter full of weak little puppies, pal.

(Sorry for the lack of bad spelling, and grammatical correctness. There are some things I'm just not good at.)

If they expect to avenge that loss, the Pats had better play much better than they just did.

Ah....."Revenge", "Really, I mean really pal?" I mean nothin has changed since the last 2 times the Blue have kicked their ****, so this idea pal of revenge is laughable. I mean you still have the immobile QB in that sucker Brady, the Giants still have that fantastic front four + 2 (albeit the some of the players are different, but just as effective). The suckerass Pats always have that fear of the Blue (they can never win against them) and quite frankly after havin the hell scared out of them by that largely ineffective and marginal offense the Ravens displayed, Eli and the Giants offense are gonna have a field day against that garbage defense of the suckerass Pats. Nothin here has change pal. I'm really not expecting a close game, Giants by 12 suckers!

Morning, Sunshine!

BB won't allow thoughts of revenge come to the forefront but you know it has to be in the back of the mind of those 8 players.

Giants didn't look that good against San Fran though. If not for a couple of fluke plays, they aren't in the SB.

Go to Vegas and make that bet. I'm sure you are much smarter than those guys in Vegas, it's time for you to go out there and exploit their stupidity and your genius.
