08:42 AM ET 01.25 | While the Blue Jackets rest during the All-Star break, some diehard fans have other plans. [Carl Bennett] has spent, by his own conservative estimate, more than $80,000 in tickets, beer, food, merchandise and travel as he has followed the team over a dozen years. He would like to keep investing. He does not know if he will. He is not alone. On Saturday, as the NHL stands down for the All-Star break, some Jackets fans are planning to gather in front of Nationwide to demand the ouster of team president Mike Priest and general manager Scott Howson. The summons first went out on the web on Monday night -- right after the Jackets staggered through a 4-1 loss at Nashville.

the original call out was actually to go do an "Occupy" at the majority owner's business, not at Nationwide... but the season ticket holders should have a huge gripe with the handling of this season

They are also demanding the ouster of Rick Nash back to where he first came from. I support that move.

I saw you were looking for Argos yesterday. Now I see there's really no need.

keep dreaming ... although Burke could shower the Jackets with draft picks and prospects if he hadn't already given so many of them away..

Clearly a College town if the answer to problems is to hold a Rally......Nash for class Pres !

But you haven't even heard my trade proposals yet! If I'm gonna go Argos, I might as well go all the way no?

Surely they could just give them everything they got in the Kaberle deal? I mean, if it was good enough for KABERLE....

At least they are doing something...

If you're channelling Argos, I'm quite sure we will.

The are BlueJackets fans? Everytime the Flyers play them in Columbus, it is to a half-empty stadium.

That's because nobody wants to watch the Flyers.

Really OCCUPY:Nationwide during a game first

January 25, 2012  11:14 AM ET

If a fanbase for a team that is irrelevant complains, do they really make a sound?

January 25, 2012  11:14 AM ET

They'll probably change the GM when the get to Quebec.

January 25, 2012  11:59 AM ET

FAIL FOR NAIL!!!!!

I think if the Jackets can keep up the "Bad Work" they should have a immediate upgrade next year with Nail. Sorta like when Lebron went to the Cavs but lets hope it ends better!

We really want to support the team but it seems like nobody in the front office has a clue. Scratch that, NOBODY in the front office has a clue!

He'd better be bi-lingual.

wish I was on board with the Fail for Nail, but unfortunately the last few Russian/Europeon prospects haven't worked out so well for the Jackets
