Anton Ferdinand to snub Terry

11:51 AM ET 01.25 | Anton Ferdinand is set to snub John Terry's handshake this weekend ahead of QPR's FA Cup tie against Chelsea. The Rangers defender, 26, has told friends there is no change from his position in the aftermath of the October clash in which Terry is alleged to have called him a "####### black ####." Terry, who denies wrongdoing, has been charged by the FA with using racist language and will appear in court on Feb. 1 to answer similar charges. The PFA have already tried and failed to get the two players to resolve their issues with the Ferdinand camp uninterested.

From the Laotzu post

As a Roma fan I can say that Toni is a guy that can make things happen....but not very often....anymore. At this point the guy seems to be the Italian Jozy Altidore (though with a decidedly larger 'up' side and more years of 'experience'). Big, sometimes physical (when he stays on his feet), and decent skill on the ball and shot power. Truly he was once one of the most potent goal scorers....but I think he may have finally had all of his injuries and old age catch up to him.

On a side note, and as an RSL fan, I simply must have a new DP. I know that we are not one of the wealthier clubs...far from it. But it sure would be nice to pull in some ridiculously old guy that used to be able to turn the tide in any match. Come on Drogba. (i kid, i kid)

I actually wouldn't mind Drogba in RSL.

Too bad Drogba would likely mind. I could see Drogba in Philly or Chicago?

No one is safe from censorship.

^factually, actually, and literally correct.

On topic: Didn't this incident happen before the Suarez/Evra thing? That's all resolved, while this one is still dragging on. Why? Is there a double standard at play here?

DC all the way! As far as city's go, doesn't DC have one of the bigger communities of African immigrants?

Not asking you the question specifically, Geez.... just wondering aloud.

Kinda on-topic: Does the Cahill acquisition mean less pitch time for Terry?

I've always thought if DCU had a stadium the 1st big DP I would go after would be an African. Preferably Eto'o.

Haha.... I think Eto'o is making more than the entire Eastern Conference this season!

Would be nice though!!

Didn't he win Daddy Sauce's "Daddy of the Year." With that kind of award, you get the fullest investigation possible.

Suarez's biggest enemy in his investigation was himself.

The idiot admitted saying what Evra said he said, but tried to play it off like it wasn't a big deal.

Future reference for anyone on here who gets accused of saying something racist: "Yeah, I said it, but I meant it in a friendly way and look at all the black friends I have!" is not a good defense.

Terry's been through enough legal **** to know to make a better defense, in all likelihood.
